How do I stop a third-party provider (TPP) from accessing my SettleGo account?
A TPP can only access your SettleGo account with your consent. If you have previously given a TPP your consent and want to withdraw that consent, you can contact the TPP to cancel the access to your accounts. If you’ve provided a TPP with your SettleGo login details, requesting new ones might be the only way to ensure the access is no longer possible. Please contact SettleGo customer support if you would like to change your login details.
- If you want to stop a payment already initiated by a TPP, you should contact the TPP directly. Once you have authorised the payment, we won’t be able to stop it.
- Check your accounts regularly, and if you notice any payments you do not recognise, contact us immediately.
- We can refuse or stop access to a TPP if we’re concerned it isn’t authorised, or if we believe it’s fraudulent or acting fraudulently. If that happens, we’ll contact you to explain why, unless we believe that would compromise our security or it would be unlawful. This change will not affect any customers who do not use TPPs.
